Lemon Garlic Butter Shrimp

This lemon garlic butter shrimp is a quick and delicious seafood dish with a burst of fresh lemon and aromatic garlic. Perfect for a weeknight dinner or a special occasion.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet, seasoning with salt and black pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until shrimp are pink and opaque.
  4. Stir in lemon juice and lemon zest, cooking for an additional 1 minute.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley.
  6. Serve immediately with your choice of side or over pasta.
