Spicy Beef Kofta

These spicy beef kofta skewers are packed with flavor and perfect for a quick meal. Serve them with pita bread and a cooling yogurt sauce for a delicious and satisfying dish.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500g ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
  3. Divide mixture into equal portions and shape into long sausage-like patties around the soaked skewers.
  4. Preheat grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Grill kofta for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Serve with pita bread and yogurt sauce.
