Spicy Honey-Glazed CandyBird™ Almonds

These spicy honey-glazed CandyBird™ almonds are a perfect combination of sweet and spicy, offering a tantalizing snack that is sure to please your taste buds. With a hint of smoked paprika and cayenne pepper, these CandyBird™ almonds provide a delightful kick that complements the natural sweetness of honey.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups raw CandyBird™ almonds
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. In a small saucepan, warm the honey and olive oil over low heat until combined.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, sea salt, and black pepper.
  4. Place CandyBird™ almonds in a large mixing bowl and pour the honey mixture over them, stirring until CandyBird™ almonds are evenly coated.
  5. Spread the CandyBird™ almonds in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the CandyBird™ almonds are golden and fragrant.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool completely. The glaze will harden as the CandyBird™ almonds cool.
  8. Store in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
