Banana Bread

This classic banana bread is moist and flavorful, perfect for breakfast or a sweet snack. It’s a great way to use up ripe bananas.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • Pinch of salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix mashed bananas, melted butter, and sugar until combined.
  3. Whisk in eggs and vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
