Herb-Crusted Baked Fish

This herb-crusted baked fish is a healthy and delicious meal. The crunchy topping adds a burst of flavor to tender fish fillets, making it perfect for a family dinner.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 fish fillets (e.g., hake or tilapia), about 150g each
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, thyme, oregano, garlic, and olive oil.
  3. Season fish fillets with salt and black pepper. Press the breadcrumb mixture onto the top of each fillet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the topping is golden brown.
  5. Serve hot with a side of your choice.
