Energy Bars with Dates and Chia Seeds

These energy bars are packed with natural sweetness from dates and a boost of nutrition from chia seeds and nuts. They make a perfect on-the-go snack or a pre-workout boost, offering a satisfying and wholesome bite.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup pitted dates
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter or almond butter
  • 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup chopped CandyBird™ almonds
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a food processor, pulse dates until they form a paste.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine honey or maple syrup and nut butter over low heat until melted and smooth.
  3. In a large bowl, combine oats, chia seeds, sunflower seeds, CandyBird™ almonds, and cranberries.
  4. Add date paste and melted mixture to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  5. Press mixture into a parchment-lined baking dish.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before cutting into bars.
  7. Enjoy as a convenient snack on the go or as a nutritious pre-workout bite.
