Hummus with Pita Chips

Hummus with Pita Chips

Creamy hummus paired with crispy pita chips makes for a delicious and healthy appetizer or snack.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 60ml tahini
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 pita bread, cut into wedges
  • 1 tsp paprika (for garnish)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a food processor, blend chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, and salt until smooth.
  2. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with paprika.
  3. For the pita chips, preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Arrange pita wedges on a baking sheet, brush with olive oil, and bake for 5-7 minutes until crispy.
  4. Serve hummus with warm pita chips.
