Classic Chocolate Brownies

These classic chocolate brownies are rich, fudgy, and irresistibly delicious. Perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth or sharing with friends and family.

INGREDIENTS

  • 200g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 150g unsalted butter
  • 200g granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 120g all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a heatproof bowl, melt chocolate and butter together over a pot of simmering water, stirring until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in sugar until well combined. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Fold in flour and salt until just combined. If using, fold in chopped nuts.
  5. Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  7. Cool in the pan before cutting into squares and serving.
