Spicy Calamari Rings

Spicy Calamari Rings are crispy and full of flavor, with a spicy kick that pairs perfectly with a squeeze of fresh lemon. A great appetizer or snack!

INGREDIENTS

  • 500g calamari rings
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • Lemon wedges for serving

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Coat calamari rings in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry calamari rings in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Drain on paper towels and serve hot with lemon wedges.
