INGREDIENTS
- 500g chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ground cumin
- 1 tbsp ground paprika
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup plain yogurt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Fresh pita bread, for serving
- Chopped fresh vegetables, for serving
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, cumin, paprika, turmeric, coriander, cinnamon, black pepper, and salt.
- Add yogurt and lemon juice to the mixture and stir well.
- Cut chicken into strips and coat with the spice mixture. Marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook chicken strips for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and slightly charred.
- Serve with pita bread and chopped fresh vegetables.
