This herb-crusted baked fish is a healthy and delicious meal. The crunchy topping adds a burst of flavor to tender fish fillets, making it perfect for a family dinner.
INGREDIENTS
- 4 fish fillets (e.g., hake or tilapia), about 150g each
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, thyme, oregano, garlic, and olive oil.
- Season fish fillets with salt and black pepper. Press the breadcrumb mixture onto the top of each fillet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the topping is golden brown.
