This spicy shrimp stir-fry is packed with vibrant flavors and is ready in just minutes. The combination of sriracha and honey adds a perfect balance of heat and sweetness.
INGREDIENTS
- 500g large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha sauce (or to taste)
- 1 tbsp honey
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Chopped cilantro for garnish (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add garlic and onion, and cook until fragrant and softened, about 2 minutes.
- Add bell peppers and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- Add shrimp, soy sauce, sriracha sauce, and honey. Stir-fry until shrimp are cooked through, about 5 minutes.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro if desired and serve hot.
