These cheesy spinach puffs are a delightful blend of gooey cheese and fresh spinach wrapped in flaky pastry. They make an excellent snack or appetizer.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 cup spinach, chopped
- 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into squares.
- In a bowl, mix spinach, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper.
- Spoon mixture onto the center of each pastry square.
- Fold pastry over the filling to form a triangle and press edges to seal.
- Brush tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden and puffed.
- Serve warm.
